Hey, I'm Hannah.
And I'm just you, two years later.
I said yes to an opportunity, and it gave me back the freedom to be at home with my family, with my baby, and to earn from something I actually loved doing. Spending my mornings with mums and babies, and getting paid for it. Isn't that the dream?
I was a personal trainer before this, with a Level 3 pre and postnatal qualification. Early starts, back to back clients, home too knackered to enjoy any of it. So in 2022 I trained as a baby massage and yoga teacher, and in January 2023 I ran my first class from a home gym with no idea whether anyone would come.
Within that first year my classes were sold out, I'd won multiple awards and been featured on BBC Radio Sheffield. By the time my daughter Lilah arrived the business already existed, which meant I got to be at home for all of it and still earn.
I didn't have anything special. Nothing was handed to me. I just said yes, and the rest followed.
But I noticed something missing from almost every baby yoga course out there: the mum was an afterthought. While every course focused on the baby, mothers were quietly longing for gentle support, strength and self-connection in those early months. So I wove it in, and created the Mindful Mama strand.
I don't teach baby classes any more. I train the women who do, and there are over a hundred of them now. And because I've already made every mistake there is to make, I can just show you the way round them.
